The frames do not hold up. I ordered a pair of progressive lenses to go with my new white Dresden frames. After a 3 week wait for international shipping, the frames lasted a week. Started to get cracks on opposite sides of the lenses. Sent in a few photos to show the product defect. They sent me a replacement frame, no arms; which is very reasonable. The replacement frames broke within 10 minutes. The concept is great, the frames look great, unfortunately the quality of the frames is not there. They do not hold up. I do not recommend Dresden frames.

I've been wearing Oakley Prescription sunglasses for the last 30 years, but came across this store whilst in Newtown recently. What sparked my interest was the fact they are made here in Australia. I initially ordered 2 pairs, and have since ordered another 2. I can't be happier... they fit great, clarity of the optics is excellent, and they are extremely durable. My favourite colours are Koala Grey and Clear Frost (both with the green tint lenses), and I love the felt cases that can be purchased separately. For the price of 1 pair of prescription Oakleys, I now have 4 pairs of Dresdens!

I love the wonderful Customer Service at the Newtown store - and my specs! I also love the fact that they are made from recycled material and are long lasting with a 10 year warranty. I have tried all all of the top Spec Shops and brands - then Dresden caught my attention. Today my order is 2 pairs for $360 in the sale - woohoo! Thanks Dresden!

The assistant, Lauren, kindly assisted me with the issues of my spectacles in a very professional manner and I’m extremely happy with the service I received from her. Dresden’s glasses are very affordable and most of all, stylish. Can’t fault them. Highly recommended.

Dresden products upcycle plastic on-site to create colourful and vibrant frames for both prescription glasses and sunnies. Their sustainability policy also takes into account the end-of-life of their frames, so if they happen to break or you just want a new style, you can drop them off in-store to be upcycled again into new products; circularity in practice. Furthermore, Jonathan, the optometrist, is knowledgeable, personable, and does a thorough eye checkup so you know you're in good hands.

I have been wearing Dresden glasses for several years and I have never encountered any problems. I have several colours, the fabulous staff showed me how to remove and replace the lenses into the frames. I get so many comments as the colours are so beautiful. I have no hesitation in recommending Dresden. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had my vision tested twice at Dresden vision in the past 2.5 years. The concept is brilliant. Affordable frames and glasses. Very friendly sales staff and supremely good optometrists. Personable, professional, respectful and very thorough in examination. I have both times been very impressed with Jonathan, and Alice. Both understood my needs and treated me very well. I wish I would experience this more often with businesses. With my gratitude, I will not get my eyes tested and my frames and glasses cut anywhere else in Sydney.

Bought two pairs with an externally-sourced prescription, and initially messed up my order (both size and lens choice) - A quick call on the phone and I was met with excellent and efficient customer service; they quickly fixed the issues I made and refunded me the difference. Received my glasses today and the fit is very comfortable. Lovely, utilitarian design that is still elegantly and thoughtfully put together. In love with the colour choices I picked out from a range of opaque and transparent options, and it is super easy to take them apart and switch all the parts around; perfect for a tinkerer like myself! High quality glass and competitively-priced extras (opted for blue-light) rounded out the much welcomed shopping experience for my first time away from XxxxSavers, and I'm glad I did! I am LOOKing forward to wearing Dresden glasses for the extended future! :)
